Battle of Brie-1940ish FoW Early War
2000 Points Per Player

Germans & Italians vs. French & British
Scott White, Clay Smith vs Steve Miller, Allen Eldridge
We all had a Saturday free of honey-dos and have-tos
so we threw together a Flames of War Early War
Smak-Down.
Each player put out 2000 points and we commenced
to throwin' down.
The French and Italians raced for the critical village of
Brie. Brie was a vital industrial center for the
international fromage trade. The village ended up
being the focus of the battle with both sides
committing their entire forces.
The British met the Germans who were coming in the
same ole' style They were met with elan but were
swept from the field by the fast moving Panzers.
We played reserve rules plus used ambush. The
game played very smoothly. As usual, our Early War
games play until the last platoon, tank squadron
and/or unit.
Enjoy the mini gallery....Early War is the best game in
FoW. If you're not playing Early War, you're missing
the best! Anyone can shoot a 75mm AT and blow up
stuff at 32". It takes brass cajones to stand and deliver
in a Early War game!
